Dr Claire Sharp is specialist and associate professor in small animal emergency and critical care in the School of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University. Claire originally obtained her veterinary degree from Murdoch in 2002, after which her rotating internship was at Oklahoma State University, followed by an ECC internship, residency, and MS degree at the University of Missouri. Following completion of her specialty training Claire was on faculty at Tufts University in the United States for 6 years before returning to Perth. Claire’s special interests include trauma, sepsis, coagulation, biomarkers, haematology, and transfusion medicine.
