Dr. Davis received her DVM degree from the Unversity of California, Davis, in 1997. She practiced small animal general medicine until 2020, when she returned to UC Davis to pursue a Clinical Veterinary Behavioral Medicine Residency. She completed her residency program in July 2023 and joined the UC Davis faculty as an Assistant Professor in Primary Care. Her focus is teaching veterinary students and practicing clinicians how to incorporate behavioral medicine in everyday veteinary practice.
