Richard Squires did his clinical training at the Universities of Cambridge and Pennsylvania and his PhD research training at Glasgow University. He is a Diplomate of both the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Internal Medicine and holds a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Diploma of Veterinary Radiology. Richard has taught at the Universities of Adelaide, Liverpool, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin and at Massey University and James Cook University. Most of his research has been on canine and feline infectious diseases. Richard has been a member of the WSAVA Vaccination Guidelines Group since 2010 and was its chair from 2020-2023.
