Ane Uriarte is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology and EBVS specialist. Ane started her studies in Spain, but graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Alfort in Paris, where she completed her general internship and European residency.

After obtaining her ECVN diploma, she worked for 8 years in a large referral hospital in London and then moved to USA, where she spent over 3 years as an assistant professor, researcher, and clinician at the Veterinary School at Tufts University in Massachussets.

Ane regularly publishes with her multiple ECVN and ACVIM residents in international journals and has contributed to 2 reference books on neurosurgery. She maintains a significant teaching presence through webinars, conferences, and social media platforms such as "Ane.neuro" on instagram and Neuronavet.com, where she shares neurology cases.

For the last 4 years Ane has been back to London,  as a head of service of the Neurology and Neurosurgery department at Southfields Veterinary Specialist one of the largest veterinary hospitals in Europe.

Ane main area of expertise in brain surgery and CSF disorders and she is particularly interested on making neurology accesible for the general practitioner
