Lorena LLoret Nadal, DVM, MSTCVM obtained her Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Murcia, Spain, 2002. 

Certified Veterinary acupuncture (ABVA UK 2003; Chi University USA 2006), Certified Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine (Chi U 2008), Certified Veterinary Food Therapy (Chi U 2010), Certified Veterinary Tui Na practitioner (Chi U 2011), Certified Veterinary Balance Method acupuncture (Chi U 2018) , 

Master of Science on TCVM by Chi University 2019-2022: “The analgesic intrasurgical effect of acupuncture and EA on dog´s TTA surgeries”

 

Clinical internship in University of Florida -USA 2006  

Chiang Mai University -Thailand 2005 

Lanzhou Institute of Science and Pharmacology - China 2006.

Named as senior lecturer at the International Veterinary College (Shanghai) 2019  

Speaker and lab leader at the Chi U China in collaboration with the University of Hebei, China 2019.

 

Founding member and director of the former Chi Institute of Europe 2008, Chi Europe is the European branch of Chi University in Florida, USA. 2021 

Dr. LLoret become CEO Chi University in Europe, teaching vets in TCVM in 8 European countries including Switzerland and United Kingdom. 

2023: Position of Assistant Professor Chi University in Florida, USA  

 

Dr.Lorena LLoret has authored and co-authored numerous articles and papers about TCVM in different countries and languages (Spain, EEUU, China) also been editor chief of the Spanish translation of the world-reference book “TCVM Fundamental Principals” from Dr. Huisheng Xie. 

 

Elected president of World Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine  in 2024. 

Board of Directors of the World Association of TCVM (WATCVM) for Spain and Ireland, co-director of the Council of Curriculum Education of this same association.                               

Co-founder and president of the Spanish Association of TCVM-AEMVTC 2013- 2023.  

 

 

Veterinary clinical experience:

2003-2006 she established her own TCVM veterinarian service for small animal and horses in England, including volunteering experience in exotic and local wild centers. 

2006-2014 she moved back to Spain and start to collaborate on different veterinary clinics with TCVM and acupuncture services. 

2014-2022 , Dr. Lloret became chief service of the acupuncture and integrative veterinary Chinese medicine service of the University veterinary teaching hospital of the Alfonso X University of Madrid (HCV-UAX) where she offered the integrative veterinary medicine service for both horses and small animals in cooperation with the rest of services of the Hospital, teching students on TCVM and acupuncture. 

2022, Dr. Lloret moved with her family to Republic of Ireland and runs the Integrative veterinary Medicine service at the referral specialty veterinary center  www.vetspecialists.ie  for small animals. 

2022, moved with her passion for horses, establish a dedicated service for horses on Integrative Veterinary Medicine, focused on TCVM. 

The TCVM on-call services include all disciplines on Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and runs along different counties specially Co. Meath, Co. Dublin, Co. Kildare, Co. Cork and Co. Limerick.
