Casper's Healing Paws

Dr.Hameedunisha Tajudeen (A) Dr. Nisha passed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) in 2017 and 2022 respectively. Her interest and passion leans more towards veterinary wellness and veterinary neurology. This interest sparked during her initial clinical years post-graduation. Which led her to enhance her skills in neurology via specific courses in small animal neurology and neurosurgery from the Royal Veterinary College of London. She has also interned in Cornell University in USA, Neurology Department of Cambridge University in the UK and Glasgow University in Scotland. Upon arrival to India in 2022, Dr. Nisha was part of commencing the department of neurology in Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Healthcare Pvt Lmt and was their former head of department. She is currently pursuing her Certification in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) by the RCVS. She has provided several training workshops and lectures in neurology to a private pharmaceutical company (Oriheal), state associated veterinary conferences and to private veterinary hospitals in Kerala, Delhi and Bangalore. Her main aim is to improve and standardize the veterinary care provided to neurological patients and extend her services in veterinary neurology in the best way possible in India. 

Concurrently, Dr. Nisha became a comittee member of the Professional Wellness Group (PWG) of WSAVA in July, 2022 and has participated in publishing the professional wellness guidelines. In order to extend and apply her passion for veterinary wellness, she provided several lectures and workshops in India on veterinary wellness in one of the largest chain of veterinary hospitals: Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Healthcare Pvt Lmt, focusing on improving veterinary wellbeing amongst Asian colleagues. She continues the same in her own hospital, Casper's Healing Paws- Veterinary Neuro-Rehabilitation Center (established Novemeber 2023 in Bangalore, India) with it's operational standards centered around work life-balance and harmonious collegiality. Her goal is to incorporate wellbeing into the veterinary profession through avenues which ultimately makes veterinarians feel financially, emotionally and mentally satisfied with the profession.
