Scott graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994, then worked in practice in Australia and the United Kingdom. In 2002 he was admitted by examination as a Member of the Small Animal Medicine Chapter of the ANZCVS. Scott completed a residency in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition at the University of California-Davis in 2005 and was admitted by examination to the American College of Veterinary Nutrition. He currently works in private practice, and is also a consultant for VIN and lectures at the University of Queensland. He is passionate about optimizing nutrition for pets in a clinical settling.
